Another look at the tarot cards with Amy Hastings.

The Magician, numbered 1 in a tarot pack, has associations with Mercury burning red close to the sun.

He's illustrated as cloaked in red, with symbolism of the four elements and surrounded by flowers and foliage.

Teaming up with Northern Monks pals at Pastore, they took these ideas to put together a deep red, lightly tart ale loaded with cherries and accentuated with intensely deep red colour and delicate aromatics of hibiscus.

The result is smoothie-thick cherry and hibiscus sour. Magic.
